Peg Loom Weaving: Make a Tuffet with Jean Fenton

SATURDAY 7TH JUNE 2.30-4.30PM

 

Learn to use a traditional peg loom with Jean Fenton, to create a tuffet, seat pad or bedside mat using local fleece and curly fleece locks. Suitable for all ages and eveything is provided.

 

Jean is a textile artist and tutor based on the southern edge of Dartmoor and very much influenced by the natural landforms and endlessly changing colours of her surroundings. She teaches various textile skills including feltmaking, spinning, embroidery and weaving using local materials wherever possible. Jean sees her role as a need to empower and encourage her students to be creative and build their artistic confidence.
